  • Verification cannot reasonably be completed;
  • The application raises legitimate security, fraud, authenticity, or safety concerns; or

Our onboarding team may ask users questions or request supporting documentation relating to information already provided in their profile.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

iWeMatch follows the principles of data minimization and purpose limitation and does not intend to retain personal information indefinitely.

12. Declined Onboarding Applications

  • Maintain security and prevent fraud or misuse;
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;

Subject to these requirements, information and documents that are no longer required will be securely deleted or permanently anonymized within the applicable retention period.

13. Verification Document Deletion

Identity documents, address proofs, education documents, employment documents, salary documents, and other verification materials will not be retained indefinitely.

Once the applicable retention period expires, such documents will be securely deleted from active systems and storage locations under the control of iWeMatch, subject to lawful retention requirements.

Where technically and legally feasible, temporary processing copies, cached copies, and other working copies will also be removed.

Certain encrypted backup copies may remain temporarily in backup or disaster-recovery systems until they are automatically overwritten or deleted according to the applicable backup retention cycle.

14. Limited Retention After Deletion

In certain circumstances, iWeMatch may retain limited information even after an account or application is deleted.

This may include:

  • Application status;
  • Date of application;
  • Onboarding decision;
  • Limited records relating to the reason or category of the decision;
  • Information required for fraud or abuse prevention;
  • Security records;
  • Records required by law;
  • Records required for tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes; and
  • Information necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Such information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary and will not be retained longer than required for the relevant purpose.

15. Reapplication After a Declined Application

A user whose application has been declined may be permitted to reapply after the applicable waiting period using a new referral code from another Referrer.

A new application does not guarantee acceptance.

Each application may be subject to the onboarding criteria and verification requirements applicable at the time of reapplication.

Where limited information from a previous application is lawfully retained, iWeMatch may use it for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, compliance, or operational purposes.

16. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their iWeMatch account through the Support Centre or the designated privacy request mechanism provided by iWeMatch.

Upon receiving a valid account deletion request, iWeMatch will:

  • Deactivate and delete the user’s account;
  • Delete or anonymize personal information that is no longer required; and
  • Retain only such information as may be necessary for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business purposes as described in this Privacy Policy.

Where the user is a Referrer, account deletion may require additional processing time because references, introductions, or network relationships associated with that Referrer may need to be appropriately managed or reassigned.

Deletion of the account may affect the user’s ability to access or use certain Services.

When you use our Services, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:

  • Device type

  • Login timestamps
